Rewind E Wilson is an independent singer-songwriter whose relationship with music spans most of his life. He first performed publicly as a child and began writing music while still young. The name followed him into adulthood, used by friends, family and professional associates alike, until he eventually adopted Rewind as his stage name—a natural connection between his personal life and his music. After discovering other artists performing under the same name, he added his middle initial and last name, becoming Rewind E Wilson and, fittingly, returning once again to the initials REW.
Today, listeners often find another meaning in the name, connecting “Rewind” with songs that look back on life, relationships, loss and the moments that shape us. It wasn’t where the name began, but it has become a fitting reflection of the stories behind the music.
